Nemea - Visit to a winery

Up to 8 passengers.

The excursion starts at 9am.

The driver comes with the van to the accommodation where you are staying and you start with the destination of Nemea.

First stop for photography is the Archaeological site of ancient Nemea, at approximately 10:30 we arrive at the "estate-winery" that is, you are given a complete presentation from the process of cultivating the vine to winemaking.

Then you have the opportunity to choose various wine tasting programs that start, one hour from 24 euros per person with 4 types of wine.

When you finish the wine tasting at approximately 12 noon we return to the accommodation where the driver picked you up.

The program is indicative and can be changed upon agreement.

Today, Nemea is famous for the local Agiorgitiko, one of the most important Greek varieties with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) certification, thus continuing a great viticultural and winemaking tradition of 2,500 years.

Nemea is considered the ‘arch’ of the new Greek wine production and the most important appellation in Greece, while its wineries are ranked among the top in the country.
